In harmony with the above results, total serum ferric
reducing antioxidant capacity was significantly reduced
among the photocopier operators when compared to the
healthy control group suggesting increased oxidative
stress. The results of this study show that exposure to
emissions from photocopiers on a regular basis causes
oxidative stress analogous to the effects of several air
pollutants, diesel exhaust and cigarette smoke
