Jobs was the master presenter. He raised the game in that department. We've all been in the audience during boring information overload presentations that don't connect with us. Maybe it should connect but the speaker hasn't put much thought into his/her audience and therefore it comes across as very disconnected. I've benefited greatly from Carmine Gallo's book 'The Presentation Secrets of Steve Jobs' and from just watching Jobs' presentations. I'm not saying I'm a expert speaker but I'm better than what I was and I focus constantly on making each presentation I do better and better. Presenting is not something you can wing or fake. It takes so much practice to get it to a point where your delivery is effortless, smooth and confident.
