fourth group of fruit was kept untreated as a control. All of the fruit
samples were placed in plastic baskets covered within a polyethylene
bag (PE) and kept at 13 C under humidified conditions
(85e90% RH) for 12 days. In each group (treatment), 60 fruits were
used to measure postharvest disease, 60 fruits were used to evaluate
fruit quality, and 120 fruits were used to determine the activity of
defense-related enzymes and their gene expressions.
