As another year draws to a close it is traditional to take stock. 2014 has been an important year for my Office. New regulatory powers were given to me by the Immigration Act 2014 (a subject so important that we published a special newsletter dedicated to this). One of the most important changes made by that Act was the classification of all OISC adviser organisations as Registered. I know that those who were previously in the Exempted category are now submitting their continued registration applications. I encourage those organisations not to leave this to the last minute, but to submit the necessary forms now.
