My wife died two years ago. Now I am a single dad of four. I praise god every day for my children. Without them I don't know how I would manage life.
Having children gives you a purpose no job can give you. You are responsible for your childrens future. It gets your priorities straight pretty fast.
The hard part is not the work. Laundry, cooking, ... In the end it just means you have to work hard or pay someone to do it for you. The hard parts are the decisions about your childrens future. Nobody knows children like their parents do and nobody is committed to their future as parents are. Two parents can always help each other on the thousand every day and hundreds important decisions. As parent you know that not all of your decision will be right. Most will be ok, some will be outright stupid and some will be absolutely correct. But which are which?
