Over the past two years a total of 43 undergraduate students from UNCG have formerly participated in our open clinical trial with ACCESS. Participants were recruited from multiple sources, including cases seen at a campus-based ADHD specialty clinic where CBT was one of the recommendations made during a clinical evaluation feedback session (40%); referrals from the Office of Disability Services (ODS) and other campus units (30%); freshmen who became aware of the program during summer orientation sessions (19%); students referred by their parents (5%); and students who learned of the program via word of mouth (6%). Participants included 27 females and 16 males, encompassing first-- year students through seniors. Ages ranged from 17 to 27;the mean age of participants is 20.3 years. In line with UNCG demographics, 16% of the sample is Hispanic, and 21% come from African American and multiracial backgrounds.
