Also, in view of the fact that the first anniversary of cargo delivery is in mid June, we have also asked for confirmation that the Shipowners agree to extend time. No response has been received as yet. We would expect that an extension will be granted. But, if not, it will be necessary commence arbitration against the Shipowners to prevent the claim becoming time barred. That step would cost about US$1,200. That is the arbitrator’s appointment fee and costs associated with delivery of the arbitration notice on the Shipowners’ registered address in the Marshall Islands.
