the study hypothesized that knowledge transfer should be facilitated if there is alignment in the cultural values of the local employeeswith that of the HQ. The analysis, however, shows that while Vietnamese local employeeshave, on average, adapted to MNC’s corporate culture (in terms of becoming moreindividualistic), this alignment did not significantly influence the ease of knowledge transfer.One possible explanation may be that an individualistic culture is less conducive toencouraging knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer.
In an individualistic culture where
