The nature of URA's work is inherently creative and innovative. we frist create the planning visions to make Singapore a great city to live, work and play thereafter,we come innovative ways to realise the plans. To reinforce its importance,we have adopted "innovation" as one of URA's six core values. The culture of innovation within URA is continually strengthened through various practices that we have put in place [see Figure 5.1.1]. For example, in the area of rewards and recognition, the management introduced the innovation of the Month Awards [IMA] to recognise projects that are unique and important to customers.
