A description of the sample is provided in Table 1. The sample was evenly distributed from ages 12–21 with prevalence rates around 6–7% but prevalence increased (14%) among those aged 22–25. The sample was comprised of 51% (n = 18,876) males and the majority of participants were White (60%). A majority of the participants (59%) reported a total annual family income of less than $50,000. Twenty five percent of the children and youth reported ever using illicit drugs and 69% of students reported being enrolled in school.
