The extraction of the enzymes obtained in the solid-state process was carried out by suspending 2.7 g of solid medium in 15 mL of distilled water (pH 4), using 125 mL flasks under reciprocal agitation of 200 rpm, at 30 C. The solutions obtained were then centrifuged for 10 min at 5000 g. The supernatant was stored at 4 C for use in subsequent tests (Fontana et al., 2005).
