Statistical analysis
The results of continuous data were presented as the
mean ± standard deviation (SD). Then qualitative data
were translated into percentages. Statistical analysis of
the results was performed by means of one-way analysis
of variance with multiple comparisons test. The analysis
of qualitative data was done with the use of Fisher’s exact
test. The value of p < 0.05 was considered to reflect statistical
significance, whereas p in the range from 0.05 up to
0.1 was considered to be not quite significant. Statistical
analysis was performed with the use of SPSS PC.
