VIII. PSYCHOSEXUAL INTEGRATION AND MINISTRY
God calls persons to be priests, brothers or sisters so that they may sen'e others. In order that they be able to serve others effectively it is important that they "not be arrogant, or quarrelsome, but affable, hospitable, sincere in (their) words and heart, prudent and discreet, generous and ready to serve, capable of... relationships and of encouraging the same in others, and quick to understand, forgive and console" (John Paul II, 1992, no. 43).
Cultivating these and other qualities needed to minister to others demands constant effort.
