agricultural resources. Agri-tourism is developing as a
form of agricultural diversification among local
communities in Malaysia. It can take many forms,
including farm stays, bed and breakfasts, pick-your-own
produce, agricultural festivals, and farm tours for adults
and children (McGehee, 2007). The main agency
accountable for the development of agri-tourism is the
Ministry of Agriculture and Agro-Based Industry while the
Tourism Ministry helps in terms of its promotion (Ministry
of tourism Malaysia, 2011).
