I do not quite clearly understand the understand the answer on the first 3 question. They do not seem to be in line to the issue at hand and relevant to the question.
Also, action plan was to enable the port-security configuration on any one of the two ports and either run "debug" or do packet capture by doing port-mirroring. As I wrote in my last email -
"For testing, one port needs to be used with same configuration like the other interfaces.
And we must either gather "debug logs" from the switch or do a packet capture by doing "port-mirroring".
Once we have either of these info, it will be quite clear and easier to move forward as we will have relevant and to the point information from the port. "
We need more data / information from the ports to figure what exactly is happening and why.
Please help me with clarification on the first 3 questions and also please let me know about the proceedings on the data gathering.
