Its set hours so I can plan my offtime easier.
Good training on the job so I can peroform my duties in a clear fashion.
Location is great if its close by, for me, that has never happened though yet. 45 mins of freeway driving has been the norm, so I accept that.
Pay not so much, benefits yes, I like having them, full time in this economy in my area is about nonexistant, and job agencies that place you in a job, offer junk benefits.
Opportunity for advancement, depends on the job, Im usually just happy having a job.
Work/Life balance is not involved in a job, thats why they call it work.
Other, I hope to work with nice people, alot of the time I must take a step back and let the people who have been there a long time, be in charge, long term employment means their making more money, and they feel threatend sometimes because the new employee will make less money and the old timers be let go for the company to make money.
Right now the economy has changed how we get a job. I use my computer and only leave the house when they contact me for an interview. I keep my answers on track, thats important. I make myself fit in, so that the hiring manager sees that I am like their existing employees. I dress what is appropriate plus some to show I care about my image. '
Good luck on finding work. Choosing one, is hard to do.
