In DP type, the
highest Pn value was measured at 20% irradiance followed by 50%
at 7 DOT. At this time point, all Pn values measured in shaded leaves
were higher than that of non-shaded control. The Pn values
significantly increased from 0 to 7 DOT and significantly decreased
by 14 DOT, however, subtle changes were observed within treatments
by onward shading except 5% treatment. Of DP type, the 5%
irradiance showed its positive effect than control by 7 DOT, equal to
control at 14 DOT and adverse/negative effect than control by
onward shading time (Fig. 2a). Of MP type, the highest Pn was
observed in 20% treated plants by 21 DOT, and it was significantly
higher than the ones in 50% irradiance, unshaded control, and 5%
treated plants (Fig. 2b).
