The WFES of Thailand has also drastically increased since 2006;
in 2010, it was 6927 millionm3, about 7.6 times that of 1986 (Fig. 2).
Bioenergy contributed to this increase, and it accounted for 49% of
the total WFES in 2010. In particular, thiswas due to rapid growth of
the proportion of energy supplied by bioethanol and biodiesel. We
also note that crude oil has consistently been a major factor during
the past 25 years.
