The second part of the instrumentation was to find all lexical occurrences
for each type or environment and to classify them according to the process by which
they are formed and to ascertain if that process is considered to be a regular or irregular
variation. This step involved a survey of the vocabulary items involved with each
variation or irregular occurrence, in order to find which words can be considered as
irregular for that particular environment. The purpose of these first two steps was to
collect data related to the research objective.
