Well I can't even get to the Event Viewer anymore. If I skip the chkdsk, it will boot but then tells me "Windows cannot load the locally stored profile. Possible causes of this error include insufficient security rights or a corrupt local profile." when I try to log in. Then it says "Windows cannot find the local profile and is logging you on with a temporary profile. Changes you make to this profile will be lost when you log off." I say OK and then none of the processes will work when I get into the desktop (Start Menu doesn't work, task mgr, desktop icons, etc).
Seems like I may just have to let a full chkdsk run and hope it clears things up or else find a way to access any data I want off of it. I've moved all my necessary functions off of the machine so I think I only some misc files at most off of it. I would like to try to get it to boot correctly again though so I can see if there are any additional messages.
