The intercepts are included as a random effect. In model 2, 3 and 4 the mediating variables ILC, GLC and OLC are included in model 1, respectively. In model 5 all mediators are included at the same time in model 1. A mediating effect is evident when the influence of perceived HRD on employee performance disappears or deceases after ILC, GLC and OLC have been added to the model (Baron & Kenny, 1986).
