plant hormones such as indol-3-acetic acid (IAA) (Ashraf
et al., 2013), or facilitating uptake of nutrients from the soil through
different mechanisms, such as solubilization of phosphorus and
potassium, as reported for Fraxinus americana (Liu et al., 2013) and
synthesis of siderophores for iron sequestration (Adesemoye et al.,
2009).
