The blood AMS content in the garlic-fed group at day 1
prior to challenge was 0.32 0.13 mM, and at day 4 after
challenge 0.37 0.19 mM. The differences between the AMS
content before and after challenge were not statistically
significant. No AMS was detected in the blood of the animals
from the control group above the minimum detection limit
of 4 nM.
