A Restoration Zone is defined as requiring recovery measures from the viewpoint of ecosystems and natural landscapes (page 6-4). The establishment of a Restoration Zone strengthens the functions of the Preservation and Conservation Zones by ensuring the continuity and size of the ecosystems and filling the gaps where open areas in tree crowns and between Preservation Zones and Conservation Zones exist (Figure 6.5.4).
