The largest group of food businesses were medium-size
employing 50e250 persons (ca. 48%) and small-size ones
employing 11e50 employees (ca. 26%). Much less was the participation
of micro-businesses employing up to 10 persons (13%) and
large scale businesses with more than 250 employees (ca. 11%). The
surveyed businesses were located in Poland, mostly in the central
(44%) and the eastern part (14%) of the country
