newable sources
They are energy sources which once used
up, cannot be replaced. Fuels such as coal,
petrol, diesel, kerosene and natural gas,
which are used so much today are non-
renewable sources of energy and will be
exhausted in the near future.
Fossil fuel
Fossil fuels were formed from the remains
of organisms that lived millions of years ago.
These organisms got their energy directly ‘
from the Sun. Therefore, the energy stored in
fuels can be traced back to the Sun.
