The indicator “employees per area” evaluates the sector’s
effect on improving employment. For this indicator, the average
levels for electrical machinery and equipment and textiles and
apparel, at more than 160 men/ha each, are higher than those of
the other sectors. However, the highest individual level was in
paper and printing reproductions, at 2887 men/ha. The employees
per area in transport equipment and food and beverages were
much lower; the highest levels in both of these sectors were also
less than 100 men/ha.
