Preliminary results of the comparison experiment in Section 4.4, suggest that a 170 cc engine’s fuel consumption operating with a UGET fuel system is 20gmin−1 compared to a 16gmin−1 of the same engine using a standard carburetor. While this shows a 20% increase over the existing technology, itiswithintheerrormarginsofourlimitedtestingenvironment. Another possibility is that the UGET may have been rotating faster at the same load and providing higher power output, but due to the lack of rotational data this cannot be evaluated. Additional testing under more controlled conditions is needed.
