I’d think that something was wrong," said the entrepreneur, "that you didn't
care about me anymore. I would feel ignored and unappreciated."
"Precisely," said the One Minute Manager. "The same would be true with people
at the other extreme - people who were very inexperienced. Suppose I decided
they needed a lot more direction from me and I was in there telling them what,
when, and how to do things all the time. If I continued to do that, what would
they think after a while?"
"They would probably think you were picking on them," said the entrepreneur,
"that you didn't trust them.
