Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) is used for morphological
characterization at the nanometer to micrometer scale [52]. SEM
analysis shows uniformly distributed silver nanoparticles that
indicating the stabilization of nanoparticles by capping agents.
The silver nanoparticles were spherical in shape. The larger silver
particles may be due to the aggregation of the smaller ones, due
to the SEM measurements (Fig. 3A). In EDAX strong signals were
observed from the silver atoms in the nanoparticles and weaker
signals for carbon, oxygen, potassium and chloride were provenients
