FINDINGS ; The study reveals straightening of lumbar curve without fracture or dislocation. Marrow signal intensity of lumbar vertebra appears unremakable.
Mild degenerative change of lumbar spine with mulilevel osteophyte fomation is seen. Loss of normal high T2W signal intensity of all lumbar discs, suggestive of disc degeneration is seen.Annular tear at posterior L4-L5 disc is seen.
At L2- L3level, the central and bilateral lateral neural canals appear patent.
At L3-L4 level , there is disc bulging causing mild degree thecal sac compression without traversing nerve roots compression. Bilateral lateral neural canals appear patent.
At L4-L5 level, there is small central disc herniation causing mild degree thecal sac compression without traversing nerve roots compression. Bilateral lateral neural canals appear patent.
At L5- S1 level,there is disc bulging seen without thecal sac or nerve roots compression.Bilateral lateral neural canals appear patent.
Visualized lumbar cord appears unremarkable. The conus medullaris is end at L1 level.
No intradural extra medullary lesion is seen.
Visualized paravertebral soft tissue appears unremarkable.
IMPRESSION ; Mild degenerative change of lumbar spine with straightening of lumbar curve
