The function of the automatic scanning machine system is to make the probes move along the surface of the test parts. In order to ensure that the ultrasonic probes’ direction matches the normal of the spot on the parts all of the time, a five coordinate movement system was manufactured, three motion coordinates to control the space position of the probes and inspection spot, and two revolving directions to control the direction of the probe.
