IKEA has done a good job of balancing these organization aspects in implementing the transnational strategy. IKEA is a global furniture retailer with more than 300 outlets in 39 countries and regions. IKEA focuses on lowering its costs and understanding its customer's needs , especially younger customers. it has been able to manage these seemingly opposite characteristics through its structure and management process. It has also been able to encourage its employees to understand the effects of cultural and geographic diversity on firm operations. The positive results from this are evident in the more than 600 million victors to IKEA stores. IKEA's system also has internal network attributes , which are discussed next in regard to external interorganizational networks.
