Professor Kim: “Since I’m retiring next month, I’ll pass some of my cases to you. But there is one case that is… quite difficult and I hope you could take a closer look at it. The patient has been seeing me for the last 16 years.”
Shin Hye: “16 years? That is… a very long time.”
Professor Kim: “He suffer from SM due to an accident since he was 12 years old.”
Shin Hye: “Selective Mutism? He couldn’t speak?”
Professor Kim: “He is a mute.”

The moment Shin Hye walked into the study room, she gasped a heavy breath and almost jump up when she heard the door closed behind her. She glanced around and the design in the study room is the same as the living room. It was painted in grey and the windows were all covered with the curtains. Only few dimmed lights were turned on and it was bright enough for her to look around the place.
As her eyes wandered around, it finally stopped when she saw a man sitting right in front of a standing art easel. Looking at the back of his body, he doesn’t look like what she imagined in mind. He looked so much… stronger. He is very tall and has quite a muscular body. Although he already know she was there but he still didn’t turn around and just continued with his drawing. She stared at the standing art easel, at the drawing he was sketching. It was a drawing of a little girl.
Shin Hye took a deep breath before she looked at the man in front and spoke. “Annyeonghaseyo. My name is Park Shin Hye. I’m your new psych…” She stopped in mid-sentence and her breath immediately caught in her throat when the man suddenly turned around to look at her. When their eyes met, his dark and cold gaze sent shivers down her spine. He is very handsome with his perfect facial features especially his eyes. But his gaze is very cold and dull. It felt lifeless.
Tearing his gaze away, Min Ho went to the table in the middle of the room, took a seat before he looked at Shin Hye again. He glanced at the chair in front of him before staring at her again, sending a silent signal to her to take a seat.
Shin Hye inhaled a soft breath before she slowly walked towards the table and sits down in front of him. She let out a polite smile when their eyes were locked at each other again. “H-Hi... I’m Park Sh…” Before she could complete her sentence, Min Ho cut her off again by throwing a file to her, on the table. She looked down at the file in front of her and it was her personal data.
Min Ho took a black colour cover note book at the side and started to write something on it. After he was done, he turned the note book and showed it to Shin Hye.
“Professor Kim already informed me. Don’t waste time introducing yourself. I know every single thing about you. Just get the counselling session started. I don’t have much time to waste on you.”
Another deep breath escaped Shin Hye’s mouth when she saw what he wrote. Just by looking at his handwriting, she can already guess how confident, arrogant and dangerous this man could be. She can already foresee the hardship she will be facing in the future dealing with him.

Shin Hye: “For the start, we should make a change with your apartment.”
Min Ho: “I don’t think you have the right to change anything in my apartment.”
Shin Hye: “Since I’m your psychiatrist and my responsible is to help you, I have every right to do anything that will make you better.”
Min Ho: “Are you saying that you will do anything just to make me better? What if I tell you that the person who can make me recover is you? Will you give yourself to me?"
Shin Hye: “L-Lee Min Ho-sshi… w-what are you doing?”
~~~~~
Shin Hye: “You are mute not because you couldn’t speak. You are mute because you doesn’t want to speak.”
Min Ho: “What is the point of talking when no one will understand what you are talking about? It’s useless and will only hurt you more.”
Shin Hye: “Her death… is not your fault.”
Min Ho: “How can it not be my fault? I’m her brother and I let go of her hand. I let her drown and die.”
~~~~~
Min Ho: “What are you doing here?”
Shin Hye: “You are going to Montmartre, right? I’m going with you. No worries. I’ll pay for my own expenses.”
~~~~~
Min Ho: “Do you know how dangerous you are for staying in the same room with me like this?”
Shin Hye: “Being with you… I only feel safe.”
~~~~~
Yeon Seok: “Don’t you think you are taking this case too seriously? He is just a patient. You should keep a safe distance from him.”
Shin Hye: “He… he is not just a patient to me.”
~~~~~
So Eun: “I think I know why he feel so comfortable being with you.”
Shin Hye: “What is that supposed to mean?”
So Eun: “Taking a closer look at you… you have her eyes. Her dead sister’s eyes.”
~~~~~
Min Ho: “Who is this Yoo Yeon Seok?”
Shin Hye: “He… he is my fiancé."
Min Ho: "Am I just a case to you?"
Shin Hye: "Then am I just a shadow of your sister to you?"

Hihi… It’s me again… This will be a one shot story (or short story) about how MH suffers from Selective Mutism due to the death of his beloved sister. After the accident, he refused to speak and became a mute. He will later meet up with SH, the new psychiatrist that follow-up with his case and will find out how she help him to overcome his trauma. If I could squeeze everything in one chap then it will be a one shot story but if I can’t then it will be in few chaps like ARL… This will be a MH-SH story… I will update this story by this week (tomorrow or Friday.) Hope you like it… :)
I’m very sorry that I couldn’t update TBT and TSFOL at the moment. I’m quite busy with work lately and I don’t want to mess up with these two stories. It will be easier and relaxing for me to write some short story at this period of time. Once the project in my company is done, I will resume with TBT and TSFOL. I can’t promise when but I’ll try my best. So sorry for the long wait. >.<
PS: Please continue to excuse and bear with my poor English. I’ll try my best to write a good story. This is 300% fictional and it has nothing to do with their real lives. Any resemblance to actual events or locales or persons, living or dead, is entirely coincidental.
