The current study is an attempt to develop a multidimensional
performance evaluation framework of construction projects
incorporating all essential elements of project performance. The
applicability of this framework has been illustrated with the
help of a case study of Constituency Development Fund (CDF)
projects constructed during the period between 2003 and 2011 in
the Western Province, Kenya. This is a quantitative survey that
sought the perceptions of clients, consultants and contractors
involved in the construction of these projects. The broad findings
provided in the Findings and Discussion section elucidate the
need for inclusion of additional measures namely safety, site
disputes and environmental impact into the traditional measures
of time, cost and quality.
