It was suggested
that such domination would initially only be problematic to a supplier when it felt
that it was being treated inequitably but it was recognised that there are actions
that a supplier can take to seek to rectify any perceived inequity. However, it was
pointed out that, given the specialised nature of modern organisations, there will be
cases where, no matter how inequitable it believes the situation to be, a supplier has
no short-term alternative but to continue to supply a dominant customer
