Why do Thai schools not educate Thai's about Adolph Hitler? He is considered to be the most evil man in world history. Responsible for the murder of 5.5 million Jewish men, women, and children and millions of other victims that he deemed racially inferior. More then a genocide, it was deemed a holocaust. Yet Thai's portray him as some kind of hero. If some one were to murder nearly 6 million thai people, would it be ok to wear t-shirt with the murderers face on it as if it were a fashion statement? Hitler shirts and swastika symbols are sold in nearly every part of thailand. We have all seen the video of the 12 values the PM has made mandatory in thai schools. In the first part we see the two boys happily painting a perfect picture of adolph hitler. When questioned about it, the movie directors as well as thai government can not seem to see what is wrong with this. This is a massive failure on the part of the thai education system to teach simple history. Even when things pop up in the media and the world sees it with rage and disbelief, (such as the chulongkorn university graduation mural in chiang mai) no one seems willing to learn from the mistake. The ignorance on this matter is amazing.
