As you know Bangladesh is a low income country suffering from various health issues including cancer. I have seen many families did spend their last penny to save the life of a cancer patient. At some point of the disease the doctors, family members and the patient himself get the ugly truth that eventually the patient is going to die. At some point the patient can't take the negative consequences of the disease anymore, the family become helpless. In this situation it is really a dilemma for everyone to decide what to do or what not.
There should be a standard guideline- a cut off point, I think, for the physicians to assist the patient in the process of peaceful(!) death provided that the patient and his family want it to be executed.
