KEY RESULT AREAS and ESSENTIAL TASKS / RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for providing support services in the following result areas:
A. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE / ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE - maintaining the Accounts payable and Accounts receivable in order to monitor the level of the company’s Trade payables and Trade Account receivables in relation to purchases and sales
•Prepare data and supporting documents for expenses entries
•Prepare documents, control and record foreign purchasing
•Record payment vouchers, receive vouchers and review the accuracy of documents and transactions
•Check all expenses and make adjustments as needed.
•Prepare journal entries to correct miscoded payments/receives.
•Prepare aging of Accounts Receivable.
B. FIXED ASSET REGISTER - updating the company’s Fixed Asset Register to reflect the addition of new fixed assets and calculate depreciation expenses as appropriate.
•Record new fixed assets in the accounting system
•Calculate depreciation of fixed asset and record it in the accounting system
•Issue identification labels for new fixed assets
C. CLOSING OF BALANCE SHEET / PROFIT & LOSS STATEMENT – ensuring that accounting entries are made in accordance with the company’s accounting policies and performing the periodic closing of the Balance Sheet / Profit & Loss Statement
•Oversee all accounting processes for the company
•Ensure that accounting entries for financial transactions comply with company policies & procedures
•Perform month-end closing and reporting as required of Balance Sheet / Profit & Loss Statement
D. RECONCILIATION OF ACCOUNTS PAYABLE AND GENERAL LEDGER ACCOUNTS– reconciling Accounts Payable and General Ledger accounts to ensure the accuracy and timely preparation of the Company’s financial statements
•Review and analyze A/P and G/L account transactions on current month.
E. Financial Supporting to Hub Finance Manager
•Gathering all necessary financial info to support finance manager in planning supervising cash flow among Thai entities belonging to Hub Finance Manager
G. SPECIAL / ADHOC ASSIGNMENTS – performing other tasks as assigned by the immediate superior
