appears to be represented by a strong west–east velocity decrease in the lithospheric mantle that dips east. Its location and dip direction are consistent with the Moyston Fault at the surface. The crustal model exhibits a west–east velocity change that is opposite in sign and displaced slightly to the east of where the mantle transition zone intersects the Moho. It is unclear whether this represents the Delamerian–Lachlan transition at the surface (Moyston Fault), or the nearby Escondida fault which is related to a basin inversion.
