The onset potential of oxidationfor the four interfering agents is at around −90 mV (fructose),20 mV (UA), 10 mV (AAP) and 10 mV (AA), The onset potential offirst glucose oxidation is about −100 mV, which is much lowerthan the onset potential of the oxidation of the four interferingagents. This phenomenon indicates that the glucose sensing atthe first oxidation on the Pt0.7Co0.3/C electrode successfully avoidsthe interfering current signal contributed from fructose, AA, UA orAAP.
