this semester in P1 we are creating "All About Me" portfolios. The students will learn or write about themselves and express their interests, hobbies, likes, and dislikes in English. We are using this to introduce your child to more independent forms of writing and they are able to do this by writing about things and situations that are familiar to them.
Some of our portfolio work requires pictures of them and it would be great if we could have some real photos of your child to glue into their portfolios so they can try to write about the memories that come up when they look at their pictures. These photos could be from any time in their childhood. They do not need to be very recent pictures. If you could also include some pictures of your whole family [ with grandparents, parents, and siblings], that would be excellent!
You can either send these pictures to school with your child or you can e-mail them to us and we will print them out at school.
If your child is in P1/1 or P1/3 send the photos to Ms.Julia's email:
If you do not want to send any pictures, that is fine. The students who do not bring photos can draw pictures instead.
Thank you for continuing to help make your child's learning experience exciting and fun! We appreciate all of your co-operation and hard work.
