EXHIBIT A – TYPE OF WORK
1. DESCRIPTION OF THE TYPE OF WORK THAT WILL BE PERFORMED UNDER
THIS CONTRACT
1.1 General Scope of Work
Contractor shall provide a Rig-less Unit and other equipment, associated spare parts,
materials and personnel as further specified in this Contract to perform well services
(the “Services”) in Company’s concessions area in the Gulf of Thailand.
Company may, from time to time, provide planning and forecast data for anticipated
Services. These data are for information purposes only. Company does not guarantee
any minimum number of wells, volume of work or level of expenditure under this
Contract.
Contractor shall responsible for all logistics responsibilities associated with
equipment, tools, consumables, spares and chemicals including storage, maintenance
and mobilization and demobilization from Contractor’s Base to Company’s
designated base. All equipment and materials must be suitably packed for shipment
on a supply vessel and in accordance with Company’s safety standards and
requirements. The Company's obligation is limited to only loading the equipment and
materials onto designated supply vessels (provided suitably packed and in accordance
with Company's safety standards other requirements), shipping between Company’s
base and the offshore location and offloading upon arrival
1.2 Description of Services
The Company may utilize the Rig-less Unit to support Company’s slot recovery and
plug and abandon activities according to the Company’s standard operating
procedure.
The Contractor shall ensure the Rig-less Unit is secured adequately for the maximum
horizontal and vertical reactions from wind loads, workloads, and potential outside
forces. In the event that the guy lines are considered, they shall be used in
conformance with the recommendations of API RP 4F. The Contractor shall ensure
the anchoring system and guy lines are sized to support the load anticipated during
the operation.
The Contractor shall have its own established supply base with an existing stock of
tools in Songkhla or Sattahip, Thailand (the “Contractor Base”).
1.3 Technological Update and Training
(a) Contractor will provide one technical exchange session per year to be held in
the location specified by the Company. Each session shall be for a minimum
of 3 working days. The cost of Contractor’s technical experts and any other
related costs and expenses shall be borne by the Contractor. The place, time
and length of the seminar will be agreed and confirmed in writing by the
Company.
