Grappa – grappa is Italian brandy. Grappa is colorless with alcohol from 35 – 60% ABV. The quality of grappa depends on the quality of grape varieties that are used. At present, Grappa is protected name from European Union. To be called “Grappa”, the process must meet these 4 criteria as follow:
Produced in Italy or Italian part in Switzerland or in San Marino
Produced from Pomance in France
Fermentation and Distillation must be occurred on the Pomance
There must not be the additional of sugar
