LISTING THE TASKS
While this step sounds simple, it can be challenging, because the tasks might be embedded in a document, such as the one shown in the first version of Figure 3-9. One trick is to start by highlighting the individual tasks, as shown in the second version. Adding bullets makes the tasks stand out more clearly, as shown in the third version. The next step is to number the tasks and create a table, similar to the one shown in Figure 3-10, with columns for task number, description, duration, and predecessor tasks.
