Hi friends!
How are you guys doing? Reading some of your comments, we realised that we haven't shared too much about our motherhood experiences. Well, here it is in a nutshell.
Sonia and Andy's son- Jordan was born on the 26th of Dec 2013 and just 15 weeks later Janice and Sung's son- Shane was born on the 12th of Apr 2014. Our lives were never the same again.
Being mums for the first time has been absolutely nothing like learning how to ride a bike or any other beautiful analogy there is out there. Well actually it is sort of like learning how to ride a bike, but on zero sleep, with broken wrists, and no brakes (pun intended). There's no stopping or slowing down when your little one needs you. We often call each other and have serious discussions about how many vomits we had to clean up and how long it has been since our last shower.
But months down the track, here we are still able to laugh and make jokes about each other's increasing number of grey hairs and serious amounts of hair loss. 'Is it all worth is it?' is the question that everyone asks and as much as we would like to say 'no' just to break the cliche, the answer is yes indeed.
Our boys are growing up so fast and we're busy teaching them new tricks like: sit, hands, turnaround (haha). Sounds like a joke but they have now mastered the art of sitting and giving their hands. It's extremely enjoyable to witness these little human beings learn, grow and become something they weren't quite yesterday.
Now that they are becoming somewhat independent, meaning that we now have a few spare minutes here and there while they play with their toes, we want to do what we have been itching to do for months- sing! So to those who are asking if we'll ever come back on youtube, yes that is the plan.
We hope that gives you all a better idea of what has been happening in our lives. We miss you all dearly and can't wait for you to meet our boys soon too!
