CONCLUSION
Taste masking of bitter drug ondansetron HCl was successfully done by formation of
tasteless beads using ionotropic gelation technique. Varying concentrations of xyloglucan
polymers were used among them 3% concentration shows satisfactory result. (Figure 6)
It can also be concluded from above work that xyloglucan polymer can effectively use for
ionotropic gelation technique and proves simple and easy method of taste masking.
