Knowledge of physiological response during transport in salt water
is necessary to provide aquaculturists with vital information necessary
to mitigate stress before death of fish occurs. Lack of such understanding
has hindered the protocols for fish seed distribution. Our
knowledge also continues to languish on the physiological response of
potamodromic fish during transport under varying salinity treatments.
