8.4.2 Project Liaison
This person is the primary project contact with the other party or parties to the contract. For
small projects, this role may be filled by the project manager; for large projects there may be
multiple individuals, each focusing on a specific vendor or product. The responsibilities of the
project liaison are to:
• Ensure that proper communications, both incoming and outgoing, occur
• Track vendor deliverable against the contracted schedule
• Monitor the flow of defect reports and resolutions
