structured clinical examinations are typically used for over 20
years [9,10]. To evaluate the students' nursing core competencies,
this study applied objective structured clinical examinations
to assess undergraduate comprehensive practice
abilities. The health history collection performance, physical
assessment, scenario simulation, and communication in the
experimental group were significantly higher than the control
group, indicating that the nursing core competency standard
education model can help cultivate students' core competency
of comprehensive application of knowledge, communication,
critical thinking, and unity cooperation.
